June 21: 45 miles from Tonasket to Republic.
This picture was taken just before we scared a whole herd of horses. We climbed several thousand feet up to Wauconda Pass today, and it only rained a little! We opted to stay put in Republic to rest up for tomorrow’s climb up to 5,575 foot Sherman’s Pass. Should be fun. But here’s today’s pass pic:
Our official favorite mountain today was Sneed Mountain. Just because.
